    SECUREX LUXEMBOURG is responsible for the processing of personal data collected on the http://www.securex.lu site within the meaning of the law of Luxembourg of 2 August 2002 on the protection of persons with regard to the processing of personal data. It processes your personal data in compliance with that law.
     
  2. By confirming your acceptance when transferring your data to SECUREX LUXEMBOURG as part of a request for information or for documents, you authorise SECUREX LUXEMBOURG to collect and process your personal data for the following purposes:
    • to be able to respond favourably to requests submitted by you during visits to the site;
    • to optimise management of the site, of SECUREX LUXEMBOURG's commercial and administrative contacts and of administrative services related to its clientele;
    • to optimise the quality of the services offered to internet users and of the www.securex.lu site;
    • to establish market studies and site consultation statistics;
    • to keep you regularly informed, in particular by e-mail, of the activities, new services and products of SECUREX LUXEMBOURG;
    • to carry out direct marketing actions, in particular by e-mail;

  3. SECUREX LUXEMBOURG reserves the possibility to use cookies. Cookies are small files issued by a web server you consult and that are written onto the hard disk of your computer. They make it possible to speed up subsequent access to the site to which the cookies are linked and to facilitate your visits to the site. Cookies also enable SECUREX LUXEMBOURG to check the correct functioning of its statistical tools.

  5. To prevent to the greatest extent possible all unauthorised access to the personal data you have transmitted to us, SECUREX LUXEMBOURG applies strict security procedures.
    SECUREX LUXEMBOURG may take all such measures as needed to ensure proper management of its site and of its computer system. To that effect, it may access at any time all information, communications or other elements stored in the said site and/or in its system.
     
  6. SECUREX LUXEMBOURG may disclose your personal information to third parties at the request of any legally authorised authority, or even on its own initiative if it considers in good faith that such disclosure is required for compliance with laws and regulations, to protect and/or defend the rights or property of SECUREX LUXEMBOURG, of the www.securex.lu site or of its users, or, in specific circumstances, to protect the security of SECUREX LUXEMBOURG, its clients, www.securex.lu and/or its users.

  7. Unless provided otherwise, all trade marks that appear on the www.securex.lu site are registered trade marks of SECUREX LUXEMBOURG or of Group SECUREX.
    SECUREX LUXEMBOURG or a legal entity constituting the economic entity known under the name « Securex Group » consequently holds exclusive rights for the use and exploitation and/or exclusive licensing rights for this intellectual property.
     
  8. The site in itself, as well as its content, namely the texts, images, graphics, sound files, animation files, video files and arrangements and data bases that may be incorporated therein, are protected by copyright and by all applicable regulations in the field of intellectual property sensu lato.
    SECUREX LUXEMBOURG and the legal entities constituting the economic entity known under the name « Securex Group » reserve all intellectual property and sui generis rights for www.securex.lu for all elements contained therein and for any data bases therein.
     
  9. Apart from the imperative exceptions that may be provided for by law, you are authorised to print the information consulted and to use it exclusively in the framework of the management of your social status if you are a client of SECUREX LUXEMBOURG or of a legal entity constituting the economic entity known under the name « Securex Group ». You retain the right to download and to reproduce information appearing on www.securex.lu provided such operations are carried out strictly for private and personal use.
    Any other reproduction, distribution, making available to the public and/or re-use in any form whatsoever, whether total or partial, temporary or permanent, of the site or of any element of the intellectual property of SECUREX LUXEMBOURG, the legal entities constituting the economic entity known under the name « Securex Group » or of its grantors is strictly prohibited save where the prior written authorisation of SECUREX LUXEMBOURG has been obtained.
    Any request for information and/or authorisation related to one or more elements of intellectual property of the www.securex.lu site must be submitted to SECUREX LUXEMBOURG.
     
  10. www.securex.lu may also contain elements that are wholly or partially the intellectual property of third parties. These elements are subject, mutatis mutandis, to the rules laid down in points 7, 8 and 9 above.

  11. Any order of goods or services and any request for information or documentation placed via the www.securex.lu site will automatically result in your acceptance of the present Legal Notice.
    The services provided by SECUREX LUXEMBOURG or by any other entity of SECUREX GROUP are also governed by the specific conditions or contracts concluded between the parties ordering the services and SECUREX LUXEMBOURG for the services concerned, which shall take precedence over the present Legal Notice in the event of contradiction.
     
  12. Neither on-line requests for documents and/or information nor the delivery of such documents/information implies any transfer of intellectual property rights to you. The documents and information are and remain the exclusive intellectual property of SECUREX LUXEMBOURG, the legal entities constituting the economic entity known under the name « Securex Group » or of its grantors.
     
  13. Any breach of the rights, in particular the intellectual property rights, of SECUREX LUXEMBOURG, the legal entities constituting the economic entity known under the name « Securex Group » or of its grantors exposes the offender to administrative and judicial proceedings before the competent authorities.
  14. Save where expressly provided otherwise in the special terms and conditions of the litigations service, any dispute related to the www.securex.lu site that cannot be settled amicably shall be subject to the laws of Luxembourg, and the courts of Luxembourg shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

  15. www.securex.lu has been developed with the utmost care and SECUREX LUXEMBOURG endeavours, to every reasonable extent, to keep the information contained on the site up-to-date.
    www.securex.lu is made available solely for information purposes and SECUREX LUXEMBOURG stresses that its content evolves continuously and that the relevance of the information obtained on the site should always be checked. The said information may in no case replace a legal opinion or the personalised assistance of a professional.
    To the full extent authorised by law, SECUREX LUXEMBOURG or any other the legal entities of « Securex Group » may in no case be held liable for damage, direct or indirect, of any nature and importance whatsoever, that could be caused directly or indirectly by the consultation or, more generally, by any use whatsoever made of the www.securex.lu site, and in particular of the information appearing there.
